fa بررسی ارتباط وزن زمان تولد با رویش نخستین دندان شیری First Primary Tooth Eruption and its Relationship with Birth Weight دندانپزشکی Dentistry گزارش کوتاه Brief Report سابقه و هدف: مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین ارتباط بین وزن زمان تولد و زمان رویش نخستین دندان شیری انجام پذیرفت. مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه کوهورت گذشته‌نگر، شیرخوارانی که برای دریافت واکسن 12 و 18 ماهگی به مراکز بهداشتی درمانی قائم‌شهر مراجعه کرده بودند، وارد مطالعه شدند. نمونه‌گیری به صورت خوشه‌ای چند مرحله‌ای انجام شد. وزن زمان تولد، قد، اندازه دور سر از کارت مراقبت کودک استخراج گردید. تغذیه شیرخوار، سن حاملگی، نوع زایمان و زمان رویش نخستین دندان شیری از مادر پرسیده شد و ارتباط بین زمان رویش دندان با سایر متغیرهای کمی با آزمون آماری ضریب همبستگی پیرسون سنجیده شد. آزمون آماری رگرسیون خطی جهت تعدیل اثر متغیرهای مداخله گر مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. یافته‌ها: در مجموع داده‌های 704 کودک مورد آنالیز قرار گرفت. میانگین وزن، قد و اندازه دور سر شرکت‌کنندگان به ترتیب 554 ± 3222، 75/2 ± 01/50 و23/2 ± 20/35 بود. آزمون آماری ضریب همبستگی پیرسون نشان داد بین وزن (016/0 =P، 091/0 - =r)، قد (006/0 =P، 122/0 - =r) و اندازه دور سر (002/0 =P، 147/0 - =r) زمان تولد با زمان رویش نخستین دندان شیری ارتباط معنی‌دار و معکوس وجود دارد. آزمون رگرسیون خطی نشان داد که پس از تعدیل متغیرهای مداخله‌گر تنها اندازه دور سر ارتباط معکوس و معنی‌داری با زمان رویش نخستین دندان شیری داشت (02/0 =P، 11/0 - =B). استنتاج: نتایج مطالعه حاضر نشان داد پس از تعدیل متغیر های مداخله گر تنها اندازه دور سر با زمان رویش دندان ارتباط معکوس معنی دار دارد. به نظر می رسد متغیرهای دیگری از جمله فاکتورهای ژنتیکی همراه با عوامل محیطی در زمان رویش نخستین دندان تاثیرگذار است.   Background and purpose: In this study we aimed to identify the association between birth weight and first primary tooth eruption. Materials and methods: This retrospective cohort study was done in infants attending for 12 and 18 months vaccination in Qaemshahr health centers. Multi-stage cluster sampling was performed. Information, including birth weight, height, and head circumference were extracted from vaccination cards. Other information including feeding type, gestational age, type of delivery, and the time of first primary tooth eruption was also obtained. Pearson statistical test and linear regression model were applied to identify the relationship between first tooth eruption and other variables. Results: Data of 704 children were analyzed. The mean values for body weight, height and head circumference at birth were 3222 ± 554 g, 50.01± 2.75 cm, and 35.20 ± 2.23 cm, respectively. Pearson test showed a significant reverse relationship between the time of first teeth eruption and birth weight (r= -0.091, P= 0.01), height (r= -0.122, P= 0.006), and head circumference (r = -0.147, P= 0.002). Linear regression analysis showed a significant revers relationship between head circumference and time of first teeth eruption (B= -0.11, P= 0.02). Conclusion: In current study, after adjustment of confounding variables, head circumference remaind reveresly associated with time of first teeth eruption.
