fa میزان شیوع حفره خشک ناشی از کشیدن دندان و عوامل مرتبط با آن Prevalence of Dry Socket Following Tooth Extraction and Associated Factors دندانپزشکی Dentistry گزارش کوتاه Brief Report  سابقه و هدف: حفره خشک (dry socket)، یک عارضه محدود شونده با اتیولوژی نامشخص و التهاب حاد استخوان آلوئولار در ساکت(socket) دندان کشیده شده می‌باشد که از یک الی سه روز پس از کشیدن دندان با بروز درد شدید ناشی از تخریب کامل یا ناکامل لخته خون درون ساکت، بروز می‌یابد. هدف از این مطالعه بررسی میزان شیوع حفره خشک متعاقب کشیدن دندان و عوامل مرتبط با آن در بیماران مراجعه‌کننده به مراکزدرمانی شهرستان ساری در سال 1397 می‌باشد. مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه مقطعی از نوع توصیفی تحلیلی بر روی 1199 بیمار 60-18 سال که از آذر تا اسفند 1397 به واحد دندانپزشکی مراکز درمانی شهرستان ساری مراجعه کرده بودند، انجام شد. پس از توجیه و اخذ رضایت از بیماران، پرسشنامه‌ای جهت ثبت اطلاعات دموگرافیک و دندانپزشکی بیمار تکمیل شد و طی مدت 48 الی 72 ساعت پس از خارج‌سازی دندان توسط دانشجویان سال چهارم و پنجم و دندانپزشکان ارشد، جهت پیگیری با بیماران تماس گرفته شد. سپس تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS ورژن 24 صورت گرفت. یافته‌ها: میزان شیوع حفره خشک در این مطالعه، 1/1 درصد بود. شایع‌ترین دلیل کشیدن دندان، پوسیدگی‌های وسیع دندانی بود و دندان مولر سوم با فراوانی 4/45 درصد بیش‌ترین دندان کشیده شده بود. بر اساس ارزیابی‌های آماری، افرادی که به هیچ وجه مسواک نمی‌زدند، بیش‌تر در معرض حفره خشک قرار داشتند. استنتاج: در این مطالعه تکنیک فلپ با خروج استخوان، بالاترین شیوع ایجاد حفره خشک را داشت، در حالی که روش خارج‌سازی ساده از کم‌ترین شیوع ایجاد حفره خشک برخوردار بود. Background and purpose: Dry socket is a limiting complication with unknown etiology and acute inflammation of the alveolar bone in the extracted tooth socket that occurs one to three days after tooth extraction with severe pain due to complete or incomplete destruction of the blood clot. The present study aimed at evaluating the prevalence of dry socket following tooth extraction and its related factors. Materials and methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was performed in 1199 patients aged 18-60 years in patients attending dental clinics in Sari, Iran, 2018. Patients’ satisfaction were obtained and their demographic and dental information were recorded. Within 48-72 hours after tooth extraction, telephone follow-up was done by 4th and 5th year dental students and senior dentists. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS V24. Results: In this study, the prevalence of dry socket was 1.1%. The most common reason for tooth extraction was extensive tooth decay and third molar was the most frequent tooth extracted (45.4%). According to the analyses, those who did not brush their teeth at all were more likely to experience dry socket.
