fa فراوانی کیست‌های ادنتوژنیک و غیر ادنتوژنیک در بیمارستان بوعلی سینا شهرستان ساری: مطالعه گذشته‌نگر 10 ساله Prevalence of Odontogenic and Non-Odontogenic Cysts at Sari Bu Ali Sina Hospital: A 10-Year Retrospective Analysis دندانپزشکی Dentistry پژوهشي-کامل Research(Original)  سابقه و هدف: از آن‌جایی‌که تشخیص به موقع و پیگیری کیست‌های ادنتوژنیک و غیرادنتوژنیک برای جلوگیری از ایجاد بدخیمی‌ها و عواقب پس از آن امری ضروری است و تشخیص به موقع می‌تواند کمک شایانی به سیستم درمانی کشور بکند، مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی شیوع کیست‌های ادنتوژنیک وغیرادنتوژنیک در شهرستان ساری انجام شد. مواد و روش‌ها: با بررسی پرونده‌های ده سال گذشته بخش پاتولوژی بیمارستان بوعلی سینا ساری، جهت ثبت کیست‌های ادنتوژنیک و غیرادنتوژنیک و نیز جمع‌آوری داده‌هایی چون جنس، سن و مکان ضایعه اقدام شد. سپس داده‌ها با نرم‌افزار SPSS 22 آنالیز و پردازش شدند و ارتباط بین نوع کیست با جنس، سن و مکان ضایعه با استفاده از آزمون کای دو و فیشر مشخص شد. یافته‌ها: در این مطالعه 115 کیست مورد بررسی قرار گرفت که 81 مورد (70/4 درصد) مربوط به بیماران مرد و 34 مورد (29/5 درصد) مربوط به بیماران زن بود. بیش‌ترین رده سنی مراجعه‌کننده در مطالعه، رده سنی 44-30 سال با فراوانی 27/8 درصد بود. شیوع کیست‌های ادنتوژنیک در مطالعه 97/4 درصد و شیوع کیست‌های غیرادنتوژنیک 2/6 درصد بود. کیست‌های غیرادنتوژنیک فقط در زنان وجود داشت. این در حالی بود که کیست‌های ادنتوژنیک در مردان و زنان، از شیوع بالایی (به ترتیب ۱۰۰ و 91/2 درصد) برخوردار بودند. هم‌چنین بیش‌تر کیست‌های مردان در مندیبل و بیشتر کیست‌های زنان در ماگزیلا بود. استنتاج: طبق نتایج مطالعه حاضر، فراوانی کیست‌های ادنتوژنیک بیش‌تر از کیست‌های غیرادنتوژنیک بود. شیوع کیست‌های غیرادنتوژنیک کم‌تر از مواردی بود که در سایر مطالعات گزارش شد. در جمعیت مورد مطالعه حاضر، کیست‌های ادنتوژنیک به‌طور عمده منشاء التهابی داشتند.    Background and purpose: Periodic diagnosis and follow-up of odontogenic and non-odontogenic cysts are necessary to prevent malignancies and their consequences and can be of great benefit to health systems. The present study aims to assess the prevalence of odontogenic and non-odontogenic cysts in patients attending Sari Bu Ali Hospital. Materials and methods: We reviewed the pathology records (2011-2020) of patients in Sari Bu Ali Hospital and odontogenic and non-odontogenic cysts and also demographic data such as gender, age and location of the lesions. The relationships between the type of cysts and sex, age, and location of the lesions were determined by using Chi-square and Fisher's exact test in SPSS V22. Results: Findings showed 115 cysts; 81 (70.4%) in men and 34 (29.9%) in women. Patients aged 30-44 years old (27.8%) attended the hospital more than other age groups. Odontogenic cysts and non-odontogenic cysts were seen in 97.4% and 2.6% of the cases. Non-odontogenic cysts were seen only in women, while odontogenic cysts were common in both men and women (100% and 91.2%, respectively). The sites with the highest prevalence of cysts in men and women were the mandible and maxilla, respectively. Conclusion: According to the present study, the frequency of odontogenic cysts was higher than non-odontogenic cysts.
