fa بررسی و مقایسه‌ی میزان بیان پروتئین BCL2 در پولیپ بینی و رینوسینوزیت مزمن Comparison of BCL-2 protein expression in nasal polyp and chronic rhinosinusitis آسيب شناسي(پاتولوژی) Pathology گزارش کوتاه Brief Report سابقه و هدف: رینوسینوزیت مزمن یک اختلال التهابی شایع در مخاط بینی و سینوس‌ها است که می‌تواند با یا بدون پولیپ‌های بینی ایجاد شود. شناسایی مکانیسم‌های دخیل در ایجاد پولیپ‌های بینی در بیماران مبتلا به رینوسینوزیت مزمن می‌تواند در پیشگیری و درمان این پولیپ‌ها مفید باشد. یکی از مکانیسم‌های مطرح شده در این زمینه نقش افزایش پرولیفراسیون سلولی و مهار آپوپتوز می‌باشد. لذا مطالعه‌ی حاضر با هدف بررسی و مقایسه‌ی بیان پروتئین ضد آپوپتوزی BCL-2 در پولیپ بینی و رینوسینوزیت مزمن، انجام پذیرفت. مواد و روش ‌ها: در این مطالعه‌ی مقطعی، در مجموع 70 نمونه‌ی پولیپ بینی و 60 نمونه‌ی رینوسینوزیت مزمن از بیماران مراجعه‌ کننده به بیمارستان شهید مصطفی خمینی (ره) تهران طی سال‌های 1396 تا 1400 مورد رنگ‌آمیزی ایمونوهیستوشیمی با مارکر BCL2 قرار گرفتند. درصد بیان BCL-2 در هر نمونه تعیین شد. اطلاعات توسط نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS نسخه‌ی 16 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت و درصد بیان BCL2 در دو گروه و ارتباط آن با سن و جنسیت بیماران بررسی شد. یافته‌ها: متوسط درصد بیان BCL-2 در مجموع نمونه‌های مورد بررسی 11/2 ± 23/09 درصد و در محدوده‌ی 0 تا 62 درصد بود. درصد بیان BCL-2 در نمونه‌های پولیپ بینی (12/47 ± 26/58) به طور معنی‌داری بیش‌تر از نمونه‌های رینوسینوزیت مزمن (8/82± 19/01) بود (0/001=P). در گروه پولیپ بینی، متوسط درصد بیان BCL-2 در بیماران مرد به طور معنی‌داری بیش‌تر از بیماران زن بود (0/008= P). هم‌چنین یک همبستگی معنی‌داری مستقیم بین درصد بیان BCL-2 با سن بیماران مورد بررسی در گروه پولیپ بینی (0/027= P و 0/265= R) وجود داشت. استنتاج: یافته‌های این مطالعه مطرح‌ کننده‌ی <a name="_Hlk167440299">نقش افزایش بیان </a>BCL-2 به عنوان یک پروتئین ضد آپوپتوزی در ایجاد پولیپ بینی در بیماران مبتلا به رینوسینوزیت مزمن است. این افزایش بیان در جنس مذکر و با افزایش سن بیماران قابل توجه‌تر خواهد بود.   Background and purpose: Chronic rhinosinusitis is a common inflammatory disorder affecting the sinonasal mucosa, which can develop with or without nasal polyps. Identifying the mechanisms involved in nasal polyp development in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis could be useful in the prevention and treatment of these polyps. One of the suggested mechanisms in this context is increased cellular proliferation and apoptosis inhibition. The present study aims to compare the expression of the anti-apoptotic B-cell lymphoma 2 (BCL-2) protein in nasal polyps and chronic rhinosinusitis. Materials and methods: In this cross-sectional study, a total of 70 nasal polyps and 60 chronic rhinosinusitis samples obtained from patients who were referred to Shahid Mostafa Khomeini Hospital, Tehran, during 2017 to 2021 were immunohistochemically stained using the BCL-2 marker. The percentage of BCL-2 expression was determined for each sample. Data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software, version 16, and the percentage of BCL-2 expression in the two groups and its association with patients' age and gender were evaluated. Results: The mean percentage of BCL-2 expression in all samples was 23.09 ± 11.2 with a range of 0-62%. The mean percentage of BCL-2 expression in nasal polyps samples (26.58 ± 12.47) was significantly higher than that in chronic rhinosinusitis (19.01 ± 7.82) samples (P=0.001). In the nasal polyps group, the mean percentage of BCL-2 expression in male paitients was significantly higher than in female patients (P=0.008). There was also a significant positive correlation between the percentage of BCL-2 expression and patients' age in the nasal polyps group (P=0.027, R = 0.265(. Conclusion: The findings of this study are suggestive of the role of BCL-2 overexpression as an anti-apoptotic protein in the development of nasal polyps in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis.
